Every client is different. The decision to go ahead and enter the Chinese market, how to enter it and with what kind of partners, or the decision to carefully observe the market and wait until the timing is just right, depends not only upon conditions in China, but on a host of other issues at home as well. Decisions are rarely made on the basis of a single study or a single meeting with clients. Clients usually prefer a phase approach in which information is gathered and analysed, feasibility is checked and then the market tested before a major commitment is made.
